TSUBOKI Japanese Face Massage General Info

ENERGY BALANCING FACE MASSAGE

Tsuboki™ Japanese Face Massage is a wonderfully relaxing yet energizing treatment suitable for men or women who want to feel good on the inside and the outside. It is a restorative health treatment and a "natural facelift", combining traditional Japanese massage with Acupressure techniques based on ancient meridian theory. This method was developed by Anne Parry and is widely available throughout the UK. It is very exciting to be the first Canadian therapist to be certified in Tsuboki™.

TSUBO = Acupressure Point and KI = Meridian Energy, TSUBOKI = massage using the tsubos to influence the flow of Ki in the body.

Eastern philosophy suggests that beauty and health are related and that when a person is not healthy, it will show on their face. Tsuboki™ provides both beauty and health benefits. By working SUPERFICIALLY, skin tone and lymph flow are improved. By working with the MUSCULATURE at a deeper level, muscle tone and general appearance can be affected. By stimulating acupressure points along 8 of the 14 main energy MERIDIANS that run through the face, the balance of health in the whole body can be influenced. By working with the LYMPHATIC system, the removal of metabolic waste products is encouraged.

Clients report feeling incredibly relaxed during the massage, but afterwards feel energized and revitalized. Easily accessible (no need to completely disrobe for a face massage) yet it feels like a full body massage. Using anma and acupressure techniques, this massage affects the deep and superficial muscles of the face, reduces the development of wrinkles, improves the appearance of the skin, and encourages the elimination of metabolic waste products.

In short, it is a "full body" massage and "natural facelift" combined into a relaxing and restorative health-giving treatment.
