November 30, 2011: Perkins - a new addition to our family. Perkins is a blue male Pacific Parrotlet. Parrotlets are the smallest species of parrot and are smaller than a budgie. They are entertaining and affectionate and of course, like all parrots, very intelligent. Perkins was hatched September 1, 2011. We picked him up October 22nd and since then have been developing a relationship with him, teaching him lots of new things and adjusting to life with a lively and active bundle of messiness. September 7, 2011: Pickle Ball!!! My newest addiction!!! I joined the Saskatchewan Senior Fitness Association (SSFA) and play Pickle Ball with the group every Tuesday afternoons at 2:00. It's a cross between tennis, badminton and ping pong - lots of fun & great exercise! Check it out:
